TrailMapper is a "wiki-style" trails database. This means that the content is contributed by folks like you. Anyone with trail information can contribute, either by editing existing trail data or uploading an entirely new trail. If you aren't in the mood to share, just browse, learning new things about trails you already know, and learning about trails you never knew were there.

You Can Help
You can easily be a vital part of the TrailMapper scene. For starters, you can upload trail data of your own, and you can edit existing entries for accuracy, clarity, etc. There are other great ways to help TrailMapper and the folks who use it. Check out the Pitch In page to find out how.
No news, just a "Hi, still here!" post. TrailMapper is still going along, and nothing has broken in a while. Amazing.
We've moved! Our old webhost (1and1.com) got a little too unfriendly for TrailMapper's tastes, so we are now happily moved in to GoDaddy.com. Let me know if anything doesn't work right!
Thanks to an observant TrailMapper user, the upload system works better than ever. Certain "flavors" of KML data were being plotted as a single point, regardless of whether the data was a trail, route or waypoint. Happily, this is now fixed!
Rogue headers were responsible for Internet Explorer showing a "crashed layout". Things are looking up. In fact, to fix the problem, code was removed, rather than added. Refreshing.
